Zettle

I was the lead copywriter for web at Zettle, through a transition period of hypergrowth and their acquisition by PayPal.

In the decade since its launch, the Zettle website had grown unruly. I led a full web copy audit and created a refreshed approach with new key messaging, site copy and an updated tone of voice. This project also included managing localised versions of each web page across seven global markets.

In creating the site copy, I collaborated with data engineers to A/B test options before launch. I worked closely with SEO experts in my team to make sure each page was set for success. Using data and SEO in this way, I was able to produce copy that resulted in a substantial uptick in conversion.
